Ultra-Fast Internet
More than 2,500 SkyHouse apartment units stand to benefit from ultra-fast Internet speeds of up to 1 Gigabit per second over the AT&T GigaPower network.
The locations to benefit are spread out across 8 properties situated in Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, Charlotte, Orlando and Raleigh-Durham metro areas. AT&T and Novare Group, a leading commercial real estate development company, reached agreements to deliver AT&T GigaPower to additional SkyHouse residents.
A press statement from the company said that AT&T plans to provide ultra-fast Internet service over the AT&T GigaPower network to nearly 1,800 more SkyHouse apartments across 5 properties located in the Atlanta, Dallas, Charlotte, Houston and Nashville metro areas.
“We want to bring ultra-fast Internet speeds and access to content in real-time to more of our customers,” Peter Feeney, AT&T vice president of MDU and Connected Community Sales said. “We’re working with property owners, management groups, homeowner associations and developers to expand the availability of high-speed Internet over our AT&T GigaPower network.”
He added that it will enhance the experience of their customers using Internet services. “This will make properties more attractive –Internet speeds up to 1 gigabit per second let residents quickly connect to the cloud, telecommute more easily, video chat in real-time and stream the latest entertainment.”
Internet speeds of up to 1 Gigabit per second over the 100% fiber AT&T GigaPower network will allow customers to access the latest online movies, music and games. Furthermore, they will see an improved experience when connecting to the cloud, videoconferencing and more. “With speeds up to 1 Gigabit per second you can download 25 songs in 1 second, a TV show in 3 seconds or your favorite HD movie in less than 36 seconds,” the statement noted.
The most important thing is that AT&T GigaPower customers have access to the latest Wi-Fi technology.
