Bright House TV App (BHTV) is set to transform viewers experience as the telecommunications company gets innovative to fight off market competition.
It will never be the same again sitting down to watch the latest episodes of your favorite television shows on Bright House. A press statement from the company dated April 5 said over 80 networks are now available to view outside of the home on the BHTV app, as well as even more Video on Demand (VOD) programming.
BHTV is available to Bright House Networks video customers at no additional charge. “Viewers can now catch every moment of their favorite programs while on the go on a variety of new channels streaming live, including BBC America, Discovery Channel, DIY Network, Food Network, FS1, FX, Nat Geo, Travel Channel and many more,” the statement read in part.
“The Bright House TV app also allows viewers to watch thousands of hours of VOD programming outside of their homes from more than 60 networks, including Animal Planet, AMC, Comedy Central, Discovery Channel, Food Network, FX, FOX, Hallmark Channel, History, MTV, Nick Jr., TLC and more.”
To use the Bright House TV App, Bright House Networks customers can download the app from the Apple iTunes store, Kindle store or Google Play. Once the app is downloaded, viewers can access Bright House TV directly from their device’s touchscreen by tapping the icon and entering their Bright House Networks My Services username and password.
The channels available on the app are based on the channels a customer currently receives as part of their Bright House Networks TV service. Customers who have Bright House Networks video services as well as a My Services account and high speed Internet with a wireless router along with the app can watch the full BHTV lineup in the home. For the outside-of-the-home lineup, customers can use any WiFi connection. The app is available at no additional charge to Bright House Networks video customers.
